The Scribe Speaks
Jack's the name, not Jack Dragon, rather Jack Scribe...
My name is Jack Scribe, and that's what I do, Scribe. Specifically I spend many hours of my week using a computer to post, message and send email for my good friend Jack Dragon. Now I should point out two things. First, Jack is in fact a Dragon. You can read his blog by clicking on the link in the upper right. Questions about his dragonhood, dragonness or other questions about him should be directed to his blog rather than mine. I'm not here to dish dirt on my friend, the Dragon. Second point; I don't use the word friend too often, but in this case I am confident that Jack Dragon and I our in fact friends. With Dragons pretty much you are either a friend or lunch and I haven't been eaten....Yet.
My job is as far as I know unique. You see Jack (the Dragon), has huge, scaly and scary paws that are not suitable for typing. He has tried, though I shudder when I think of what those 'test' keyboards look like now. So to save keyboards and expedite the blogging process, he has engaged me to do the typing for him. That's what I do; type exactly what he says, word for word. I don't mind it because there are some nice perks that go with the job, none that I care to mention right now mind you. But there are some downsides, like watching him make snacks of salesmen and hapless interlopers. But all jobs have their goods and bads, eh?
That's not to say that my job doesn't have some frustrations. There are times when I want my voice to be heard, or I have stories to tell about being human. Obviously the dragon's blog is not the place for this, so I've created my own blog. I hope you all read it and learn to enjoy it just as much as the Dragon's blog.
